Possible Logo (2)Sojourn [n. soh-jurn]: A temporary stay. To live or reside temporarily in a place.

For Christians, this earth is not our home. We are not meant to work towards making this our permanent residence; rather, we are journeying through this life towards our real home with Jesus.

Life is a journey & we are pilgrim’s in a foreign land. We walk the narrow path that leads to God the Father. Heaven is our ultimate destination. It can be a difficult path to follow; but it is rewarding to reach the end of the journey & be with Jesus. We are sojourners on this earth & we look forward to the hope of future glory with Jesus. Throughout this journey, we come across differing views, ideas, and opinions. Nevertheless, we persevere and progress on the long journey home.

The point of this site is to “travel through life’s ideas with a Christian worldview.” The Christian travels through this journey called “life” and faces situations where God is the only one who can help him through. When faced with a view or idea, having a Christian worldview and thinking from the Christian perspective will be of infinite sweetness. We only live one life and only walk this path once, so we must not waste our lives.

Only one life,
‘Twill soon be past;
Only what’s done
for Christ will last.

Psalm 119:19 (ESV)
I am a sojourner on the earth; hide not your commandments from me!

1 Peter 2:11 (ESV)
Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul.

God Bless,
Tyson Bradley

    Thanks for the comment Cam! Goo perspective indeed. Christians ought to live a life that shows we have a different treasure & enjoy Jesus as our treasure. I don’t believe that we coast on the “journey” I speak of here; rather, we see to it that we follow God’s ways throughout the journey home

    Hmm from those two scriptures (and many others), we are to live here with a different mindset and different beliefs thereby a totally different set of actions than the world. I used to think that I basically need to just tough it out waiting for the end.
    But to be a sojourner means also a stranger and an ‘alien alongside’.
    We live in the world but not by the world system. We can get to know The Lord and have His Kingdom thinking, believing, and acting grown into our lives so that we no longer resemble to worlds ways; thereby becoming a foreigner in this world, but our own life manifesting the Kingdom of God.
